Past Life Regression, Peak Performance, Applied Technology
I was a software engineer in Silicon Valley when I went to night school to become a hypnotherapist. I was feeling like I had too much "left-brain" and not enough "right-brain" skill and understanding. I've also always been fascinated by the power of the mind and visualization. Since I love language and linguistics, too, hypnotherapy was really a great choice for me.
My specialty when I graduated was Past Life Regression, which is still one of my favorite areas of hypnosis. A few years later, I got burned out on the high-tech valley, and moved to a small town and opened a full-time hypnotherapy office. For three years I built the business and tranced out clients - what a great way to spend the days.
My computer skills never left me, of course, and seeing the huge recent jumps forward in e-commerce and Internet while seeing that my colleagues are still doing business the same old 20th-century way called me to a clear task. The technology gap has opened very wide now, and business is shifting very quickly. Now I'm very happy being a bridge between the high-tech and high-touch; bringing technology to people and people to technology, hopefully improving conditions for both along the way.
