Announcing AAPH Professional Blogging Program

When you hear about the Internet, you hear about blogs (short for "web logs"). A blog is a way of adding content to a web site, usually sorted in reverse-chronological order of posting date. This means the most recent blog post is always the first one showing.

AAPH Professional Blogging Program

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the professional blogger's program?

AAPH provides a platform for our members, who are professional hypnotherapists, to have their own blogs. Our blogging system is easy to use and free to AAPH members. Your blog posts will also appear on the AAPH web site, so your writing will get wide exposure, indexed by Google, and more.

Member Directory: Not showing up?

There are three things that must be in place in order for you to show up in the AAPH Member's Directory (the "find a hypnotherapist" link on the front page):

1) You must be a current member.

2) You must have your "Publish Listing in Directory?" flag set to "Yes".
(read how to set your flag here)

Add your profile to the web site

Some members that haven't visited the new AAPH web site are asking why they need to register, and why the web site doesn't immediately recognize who is already a member.

Online Help

Check the topics below to get tips, how-to's, and articles. If you don't find the answer you are looking for, feel free to email our staff; perhaps we can help.

Client's Bill of Rights is now available to Members

All AAPH members can now use a standardized client's bill of rights. The Client's Bill of Rights is based upon California Senate Bill SB577. All practitioners should give their clients a copy. This will clarify your practice and help the consumer make the best choice for their health care.

Another benefit of AAPH membership! Just copy and paste from the page to your word processor of choice and fill in the blanks.

Go to the Client Bill of Rights (you need to be logged in to view it).

Staff Materials

Here you will find tools & materials we can use to help process members, help around the AAPH offices, and help our staff.

Making a Difference

This year, the natural disasters are on the rampage. And literally millions of people have experienced tremendous trauma, loss, and suffering. We all want to help, giving something of value beyond cash donations, but there seem to be so many limitations in our time, travel, ability to take leave from business or work.

But there is something very wonderful and special that AAPH Members can do.
